2020 New Zealand Motorcycle Show Cancelled

In a now unsurprising turn due to the uncertainty around Covid-19 within the New Zealand community, the organisers behind the annual NZ Motorcycle Show ave pulled the plug on the 2029 event.

The news was broken to the Kiwi motorcycle community by announcement via social media on September 28th That the show - scheduled for the weekend of November 8-9 - would no longer take place.

Here’s the official statement:

Due to the ongoing complications placed upon us by Covid-19, The Rotary Club of Papakura and Premier Events have made the difficult decision to cancel the Ride Forever 2020 NZ Motorcycle Show.
An unprecedented level of uncertainty has simply made the show untenable.
We know that this will come as an enormous disappointment, not only to the exhibitors, buyers and industry professionals who were due to attend the show.
Once the same or similar dates are fixed for next year we confirm this.
However we are working on holding a ride in ‘show and shine’ event in the summer month, should we be in level 1 over that weekend and will advise.
Take care of yourselves. We'll continue to do everything we can to help our communities stay safe, informed, and connected.
