Our mission is simple. We want to be the first choice for relevant motorcycling news for the modern Kiwi motorcyclist.

With so much information available at our fingertips, finding accurate and relevant information regarding motorcycling has become harder in recent years. With that in mind, OnThrottle.co.nz was launched in late 2018 to fill the gap in the local media market for an online source of general motorcycling news, along with reviews and features to keep local riders informed and entertained.

OnThrottle is the passion project of Mathieu Day-Gillett, a freelance motoring writer based in the Waikato who has written motoring news right here in New Zealand since 2013.

Having written for publications including the New Zealand Herald, Driven Car Guide, Bike Exif, Bike Rider Magazine, Kiwi Rider, and more. In addition, Mat has also worked in contract marketing roles for a range of clients with experience in the New Zealand motorcycling industry like few others.

OnThrottle.co.nz is updated regularly with news, reviews and features on motorcycling from NZ and around the world, and we work closely with our friends at Kiwi Rider Magazine to provide the best motorcycling content in NZ with news content from OnThrottle.co.nz regularly published in Kiwi Rider's twice-monthly digital magazine.
